Description The Visual Effects Producer works closely with our talented team of artists, supervisors, and clients. Will be responsible for managing all aspects of project development, resource allocation, budgeting, scheduling, and client communication.

Responsible for the efficient running of the production, you will be reporting directly on the progress of the visual effects work each week to both the client and Head of Dept. As a main part of your role you will work closely with the Visual Effects Supervisor to bid work, and also working to plan and schedule resources to effectively approach the needs of the work.

As the driving force of your team you will actively plan their day to day work, ensuring they are supported by facility departments where required, whilst motivating them to work closely and confidently with their teams to ensure the progression of the work to the client’s satisfaction.
Qualifications 【Must Have】

•Proven production experience as a VFX Producer on high end VFX feature films
•Proven project management experience
•Expertise in building effective working relationships and communicating with clients
•High-level knowledge of MS/Google Office applications, particularly Excel or Google Equivelent and extensive experience with production management software such as Shotgun or Ftrack
•Minimum education of Diploma level or equivalent
•Collaborate with directors, creative leads, and clients to understand project objectives, scope, and creative vision.
•Develop detailed project plans, including budgets, schedules, milestones, and resource requirements.
•Allocate resources effectively, balancing the needs of multiple projects and ensuring optimal utilization of talent and technology.
•Lead and mentor a team of producers, coordinators, and other production staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
•Monitor project progress and address any potential issues or roadblocks to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
•Maintain clear and open communication with clients, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any changes to scope or schedule.
•Manage client expectations and handle feedback, ensuring that client needs are met while aligning with the studios capabilities.
•Identify potential risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to avoid project delays or budget overruns.
•Collaborate with department heads to streamline production processes, improve efficiency, and maintain consistent workflows across projects.
•Assist in business development efforts by participating in client pitches, proposals, and project scoping.
•Possible international travel
•Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in visual effects production.


【Qualifications】

•Minimum of 5 years of experience in VFX production as a Senior Producer with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
•Strong understanding of the visual effects production pipeline, from pre-production to post-production.
•Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide multidisciplinary teams.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, artists, and stakeholders.
•Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Flow Production Tracking (Shotgrid), Trello, or similar platforms.
•Sound financial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and project finances effectively.
•Problem-solving mindset, with the capacity to make quick decisions and adapt to changing project needs.
•Experience with bidding, estimating, and proposal creation for new projects.
•A passion for storytelling and visual creativity, coupled with a deep appreciation for the technical aspects of VFX production.
•Experience handling outsource partners across live action, visual effects, and audio vendors
•Experience working with procurement and legal
•Experience leading high profile security protocols
•Familiarity with project finance management and reporting
•Experience with managing senior level executives
•Some Japanese language experience is a plus but not required

Work Location TOEI Tokyo studio and related facilities.
Working time Super flextime system (standard working hours of 7 hours and 30 minutes)
*Flexible hours without core time
Salary Determined by our regulations according to experience and ability.
